Unwind & Release is a unique practice inspired by Yin, and blending both Yin & Restorative Yoga where the focus is on slowing down, occupying your body and experiencing your sweet life-giving breath.
The practice primarily works to access stagnant areas of the body that are often left unexplored in fast moving classes. You’ll explore seated or reclined postures, which are held for 3 to 15 minutes thus inviting both body & breath to slow down. This promotes a rebalancing of the nervous system and encourages healing of the mind, and a deep relaxation of the body as you shed the heaviness winter often brings. The practice brings a beautiful sense of calm & serenity & will leave you feeling lighter & deeply relaxed.
